Parents are encouraged to drop students off at Triton Transfer Connect program to allow students the opportunity to fully connect with others. All activities will be geared toward students. Parents may visit local tourist attractions or tour the campus.

Things to do on Campus
- Geisel Library is packed with resources in the most unique architectural structure on campus. As a student, you'll spend a lot of time there. So get introduced now — take a self-guided tour.
- Tour the Stuart Collection of Art. Walk the campus and take a look at a beautiful and thought-provoking sculpture collection.
- Visit Birch Aquarium it’s just down the hill on our Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus.

Things to do off-campus
- There are 3 malls close by east of campus: La Jolla Village Square, UTC’s Westfield Mall, and Costa Verde Center
- The beach is very close by on La Jolla Shores Drive
- The town of La Jolla is a 5 minute drive down Torrey Pines Road; enjoy, shopping, dinning, or simply taking a scenic walk along the cove.

- Visit the Gaslamp Quarter - Southern California's premier dining, shopping and entertainment district, where you'll find a truly eclectic blend of food, fun and culture-all within one of San Diego's most historic areas. Stroll past the district's grand, historic buildings restored to their original character.
