Kay Zhang

Kay Zhang joins UC San Diego’s University Center with focused expertise in real estate and a passion for creating vibrant, engaging spaces. Prior to UCSD, Kay worked at BioMed Realty, where she managed both U.S. and U.K. life science property portfolios—overseeing budgets, analyzing leases, and contributing to strategic planning efforts. She also spent time on the corporate transaction team at CBRE, supporting various real estate initiatives.

Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, Kay values clear communication and enjoys using data to guide thoughtful, informed decisions. Outside of work, she loves traveling and discovering new places and cultures.
